We will also be coordination snacks for the 3rd grade students on MAP testing days. Those days are April 5th, 6th & 7th and 12th, 13th & 14th. Traci Canby (canby@sbcglobal.net), Kristi Kee (kee.kristi@yahoo.com), and Julie Duvall will be putting this together. If you would like to help, please let them know.
Finally, we will be holding a drawing during Bingo Night to name the road that goes around the building again this year. It will be 1 dollar a chance or 5 dollars for six chances.

American Heart Association’s 2011 Franklin County Start! Heart Walk
Central Parents and Students,
Union School District is excited to support the American Heart Association’s 2011 Franklin County Start! Heart Walk on Saturday, March 19th at the Washington Fairgrounds. The Start! Heart Walk promotes walking as a part of a healthy lifestyle and raises funds to support cardiovascular research and educational programs. This family fun 1 mile walk around the lake or the 3 mile walk on the streets of Washington will conclude at the Swine Pavilion and will offer a unique experience for participants to create hope, inspire change and celebrate success while gaining more knowledge on cardiovascular disease and stroke.
I would like to encourage everyone to join the Union School District team and walk with us on March 19th. If you are unable to walk with us you may go online and make a donation. Please consider joining our team.

Join the Union School District Heart Walk team by going to www.franklincountyheartwalk.org and follow these steps:
• Click “Register”, then click “I agree”
• Click “join a team”
• Click “select a company”
• Select “Union School District” then hit select
• Pick which team captain you would like to join and hit “Join Team”
• Put your information in and click “continue” and you will be registered
Once registered under a team you can personalize your heart walk page and send an email to your family and friends asking them to join you.
