Just an update of the upcoming dances here at Central.
I have attached a list of "jobs" for the events. If you signed up to help and left your name off; let me know or just show up and we can find an area for your help.

I am concerned with all of this snow we have had, and the idea that they are predicting more to come, that the YMCA program might not have time to make decorations for us. So, if you happen to be out and see something that you would like to pick-up for us, that would be great.

Meeting to Plan Valentine Dances

We have scheduled a meeting for January 18th at 6:30 in Central's cafeteria to discuss the February 10th and 11th - Mother Son- Father Daughter dances. If you would like to help we would love to have you at the meeting. If you can't make it but would still like to help please let me know.

2nd Semester CWP Activities
February 10th – Mother / Son Dance from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
(Sons can bring mom, step-mom, grandma, aunt or whoever is that special person)
February 11th - Father / Daughter Dance from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. (Daughters can also bring that someone special in their life)
We are looking for help to coordinate and work both of these evening events. Please email Aaron Jones if you are interested in helping or coordinating one or both of these evenings.

April 1st Bingo Night - 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
If you are interested in helping with this event please contact Julie Duvall at ccjjduvall@sbcglobal.net.
April 19th Egg Hunt - during lunch recess.
Again, if you are interested in helping with this please contact Julie Duvall.
We will also be coordinating snacks for the 3rd grade students on MAP testing days. Those days are April 5th, 6th & 7th and 12th, 13th & 14th.
Finally, we will be holding a drawing to name the road that goes around the building again this year. It will be 1 dollar a chance or 5 dollars for six chances. The drawing will start during the Mother / Son Dance and it will continue until Bingo Night where the winner will be drawn. You will not have to be present to win.

Central Elementary Shirts
We just wanted to make you aware that as of lunch time we have not received the shirts and pants. We are still expecting them in today, however we will not have time to hand them out to the students. We are planning on sending them home Monday afternoon. Please let us know if you want us to keep your order in the office instead of sending them with the students.
